Al Beamer, JD, is our Chief Operating Officer. Al has extensive experience in technology, real estate and insurance and has been very successful in expanding small businesses on a regional and national scale. His operations background has been evident in his oversight of FFC’s Ackert Park Skilled Care Community, where a 50-year-old once-shuttered facility now has a 90%+ occupancy and a thriving, successful operation providing compassionate, leading-edge care. Al’s wife, Kathy Beamer, RN, has extensive accounting experience and creates and monitors the financial controls for FFC’s operations.
Gary Cunningham, JD comes to Future Focus with strong legal experience in mergers and acquisitions and in putting together complex transactions. Along with such notable career accomplishments as assembling the Edward Jones dome- St. Louis Rams deal, he helped to build a very successful St. Louis law firm, was lead counsel for United Van Lines and Adams Mark Hotels, and most recently returned to St. Louis from Washington where he was an Assistant Secretary at HUD. Gary’s wife, Jane Cunningham, is a Missouri State Senator.
Jack Baker, LNHA, is one of the foremost Senior Living Experts in the State of Missouri. He grew up in the business and works with the State and the Missouri Healthcare Association (MHCA) on issues relating to senior care, including state/federal quality of care surveys and Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement. He has owned, operated, bought and sold senior care facilities and has been on the executive level with large chain operators. His extensive contacts in the industry provide access to many off-market opportunities to acquire senior living facilities. His recent projects include consulting or taking on the administrator role in “turn-around” situations, with impressive results.
Alexis Roam, MSN, is our very accomplished Clinical Care Specialist. She has trained nurses and administrators across the country in the latest care techniques. She works with the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing, the MHCA and Primaris, Missouri’s Quality Care Initiative, to provide seminars and skill-building opportunities for administrators, nurses, med techs and certified nurse aides. Alexis assists FFC with assessment of nursing staff members, in setting clinical policies and procedures and in developing and monitoring nursing management teams that best fit each facility.
Christie Tutschulte, MA Gerontology, assists us in Care Management and Marketing. She has experience across the senior care continuum, from home care to skilled nursing and has had success in census fill and retention for over 10 years. She is creative in her leadership and marketing styles. Christie is also a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
